A point to note here is that these rankings are affected by the number of matches played by the teams during past one year. The team who has played the most and won the most is generally ranked 1 and so on.

The second type of ranking is actually player experience index which we have calculated. You can consult the team analysis and rules pages for detailed mathematics. The team with higher number of experienced players has scored the highest rank, irrespective of their present performance. These ranks deviate a little but not much from the Reliance ICC cricket rankings.
