The team also has a strong 'paced bowling' line up consisting of Doug Bollinger(11), Mitchell Jhonson(17), Brett Lee(27) and Shane Watson(28). In-spite of various spinner options the team lacks experienced spinners which might give them a set back on slow pitches of sub-continent.

New Zealand

Analysis :

Team New Zealand lacks experienced players, the Captain Daniel Vettori has a win percentage of 48.68%. The batting order of the team is average with only Tylor(25) who has performed above average in past one year. This means that the team has to rely heavily on it bowling. Team has one very reliable and experienced spinner Daniel Vettori who is also ranked 1 in bowling. Mills(14) and Oram(16) also can create a winning opportunity however the short coming in batting order will haunt New Zealand throughout the competition and may not allow them past the quarter finals.

The team though has good spinner options as  Shahid Afridi(21) and Saeed Ajmal(22) will be playing for the team. The non consistency of team performance and recent drama has put team under a lot of pressure. The team may make it past quarter finals, however winning the tournament may not be an option.
