Rules

Here you can find the insight on the significant rules of cricket. But before that we have posted the details of our calculation of Team experience index. The analysis is purely based on statistical data as of 01 February 2010. The current performance may vary as a player may be under going a good and bad patch of his carrier. Furthermore bowlers and all rounders will be awarded high points as they will get points from both fields. In no manner it is a comparison between individual players, it is only a comparison of overall team impact. Points are awarded to each player in following manner

1000 runs = 1 point

10 runs Batting Avg = 1 point

Higher batting average tells us about the capability of player for playing long innings and his consistency over the period of time. The average is calculated by dividing the total runs scored by the number of innings played or in other words the number of times the player has been bowled out)

5 Fifties = 1 point

2 Centuries = 1 point

5 wickets = 1point

 (50 - Bowling Avg = Wicket Efficiency)
Wicket Efficiency 10 runs = 1 point

Bowling average approximately the number of runs a bowler  gives before taking a wicket the lower the bowling average is the better is the wicket record of the bowler. The bowlers with over 50 bowling average are given 0 points on bowling average because almost no regular bowler in one day international has bowling average over 50 (part time bowlers not included).

(6 - Bowling Eco = Bowling Efficiency)
Bowling Efficiency 0.5 runs = 1 points

Bowling economy is the number of runs a bowler on average gives away in each over. Lower the economy is better is the bowler. Bowlers above 6 bowling economy are given 0 points because in 50 overs game if a bowler is that expensive he is likely to cause a defeat for his team.

(The terms “Wicket Efficiency” and “Bowling Efficiency” are purely our own.)
